Rapid Diagnosis

• CT Brain to rule out bleed within minutes of arrival.
• CT Angiography (CTA) to identify large vessel occlusion or aneurysm.
• MRI / MRA when appropriate to define salvageable tissue.

Treatment – Ischemic Stroke

• IV Thrombolysis (clot-busting medicine) within the eligible time window after screening for bleeding risk.
• Mechanical Thrombectomy (selected patients with large-vessel blockage) performed in advanced cath/ hybrid labs — coordinated with endovascular teams in our network.
• ICU monitoring, blood-pressure & sugar control, DVT prevention, early mobilization.

Treatment – Hemorrhagic Stroke & Hematomas

• Intracerebral Hemorrhage (ICH): ICU care, BP control, reversal of anticoagulation; hematoma evacuation / decompressive surgery when indicated.
• Subdural / Extradural Hematoma: Burr-hole or craniotomy evacuation based on size, shift and symptoms.
