Symptoms We See

  • Neck or back pain radiating to arm/leg (sciatica)
  • Numbness, tingling, hand clumsiness, or foot drop
  • Pain on standing/walking that eases on bending forward (stenosis)
  • Recurrent slip-disc episodes affecting sleep or work

How We Decide on Surgery

Most patients improve with posture correction, physiotherapy, targeted medication and nerve-root injections. We advise surgery when there is progressive weakness, uncontrolled pain despite adequate therapy, or instability/cord compression on MRI.

Common Procedures

  • Microdiscectomy for lumbar disc herniation
  • Endoscopic decompression for focal stenosis
  • ACDF / Cervical arthroplasty for cervical radiculopathy/myelopathy
  • Short-segment fixation for spondylolisthesis/instability

Recovery & Rehab

MIS techniques aim for smaller incisions, less blood loss, and shorter hospital stay. Early ambulation is encouraged; we provide a structured rehab plan for return to work and spine conditioning.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will I need bed rest after surgery?
Usually no prolonged bed rest. You’ll walk the same/next day; desk work often resumes in 1–2 weeks depending on procedure.
Are injections an alternative to surgery?
For selected cases, epidural/nerve-root blocks provide relief and help rehab. They may defer or avoid surgery when effective.
What about recurrence?
Healthy weight, core strengthening and ergonomics reduce recurrence risk. We guide a long-term spine care plan.
